MANAGING PARTNER
Vasso Vouga is the founder and head of our team. Having been involved in a vast number of complex large scale transactions for more than thirty years, she has gained extensive expertise in shipping, banking and international corporate law. She has been advising Banks and Greek and international financial institutions throughout these years on finance and corporate issues. She advises both lenders and borrowers on all aspects of secured lending. Her areas of practice comprise of shipping and corporate financing, sale and lease-back transactions, sale and purchase of second-hand vessels and newbuildings as well as corporate law and shareholding structures.

CHRISTINA D. BASOURAKOU
PARTNER
Christina Basourakou specialises in finance, corporate and maritime law. She represents banks and borrowers in a variety of finance transactions and she is experienced in the field of real estate and energy projects. She provides advice to shipowners on all matters related to vessels’ sale and purchase, finance and registration and corporate shareholding structures. Christina also provides legal support to several shipping companies on a daily basis assisting on a broad spectrum of matters arising during the course of their business.

ORSALIA KARAMOUZI
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Orsalia Karamouzi is an experienced transactional shipping lawyer, specialising in sale and purchase transactions, ship finance, banking and corporate law. She represents ship owners, banks and financial institutions in relation to a variety of transactional shipping matters. She also advises shipping companies on the sale and purchase of vessels, negotiating contracts of all kinds, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements as well as in sale and leaseback transactions.

MARIA A. AMPANTLI
ATTORNEY-AT LAW
Maria Ampantli specialises in corporate, commercial and shipping law. She has a particular focus on corporate finance transactions and she is also actively involved in ship sale and purchase and real estate transactions. Prior to joining our Firm, Maria gained experience working as an internal Legal Counsel for a Shipping Company.

GEORGIOS DANIIL
OF COUNSEL
Georgios Daniil is of counsel in the firms’ litigation team. He specialises in financial criminal law and maritime criminal law. He also has a broad experience in almost all aspects of civil and shipping related litigation. Being a faculty member of the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus he is a renowned author of scholarly work in the field of maritime law.
